MONO 2026 Gear Giveaway - Official Rules

1. No purchase necessary

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. You do not need to buy a ticket to MONO 2026 to enter. A free method of entry is described in Section 4.

2. Sponsor

The MONO 2026 Gear Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by On The One LLC, doing business as MONO, 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA ("Sponsor"). Prizes are provided by Sponsor's partners.

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Not eligible to enter or win:

  • employees, contractors, and volunteers of Sponsor and the Prize Partners

  • their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and members of their households

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

4. Entry period and how to enter

The Giveaway runs during MONO 2026 at The Midway, San Francisco, CA, from Nov 13, 2026 at 12pm PT to Nov 14, 2026 at 6pm PT (the "Entry Period"). You can enter in one of three ways.

A. Attendee survey (Main Drawing). Complete the MONO 2026 attendee survey during the Entry Period. You can reach the survey by QR code provided on your badge. Each completed survey counts as one entry in the Main Drawing.

B. Free entry (Main Drawing). Go to the MONO registration desk at The Midway during the Entry Period and ask for a free Giveaway entry form. You don't need a ticket or a badge, and this area is open to the public. Fill out the form and hand it to MONO staff. Each completed form counts as one entry in the Main Drawing.

C. Sequential Fourm Drawing. Take part in the Intro to Synthesis Workshop with Trovarsi on November 14] and complete an entry card at the end of the workshop. Anyone can also enter this drawing for free by getting a Sequential Fourm entry form at the MONO registration desk before November 14.

Limits. One entry per person in the Main Drawing and one in the Sequential Fourm Drawing, no matter which way you enter. Duplicate entries, entries made by machine or script, and incomplete entries are void. Free entries have the same chance of winning as survey entries. Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper for the Giveaway.

5. Prizes

There are several prizes with a total approximate retail value (ARV) of $2,700+. Each winner gets one prize, and prizes are drawn in the order listed below.

ARV is based on the manufacturer's suggested retail price as of [date]. Prizes are given as-is with the manufacturer's standard warranty only. Winners can't transfer a prize, swap it for cash, or ask for a substitute. Sponsor can substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. A winner of prizes worth $600 or more in total must give Sponsor a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive a Form 1099.

6. Winner selection, notification, and claiming

Drawings. Winners will be picked by random drawing from all eligible entries, with each drawing pooling entries from every entry method:

  • Sequential Fourm Drawing: [date and time], in the workshop room

  • Main Drawing: Nov 14, 2026 at [time] PT, at [a publicly accessible spot at The Midway, e.g. the lobby/registration area]

Sponsor's decisions are final. Your odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries are received.

Notification. Winners will be announced at the drawing and notified by the email or phone number they gave when entering. You do not need to be present to win. A winner who isn't there can claim their prize at The Midway before the end of the event, or have it shipped to a U.S. address by the Prize Partner, free of charge.

Claiming. Each winner must reply within [5] days of being notified. They may also need to sign a declaration of eligibility and a liability release, and to give their full name and a U.S. delivery address. If a winner doesn't respond in time, isn't eligible, or doesn't comply with these rules, they forfeit the prize and Sponsor may pick an alternate winner by random drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for notifications that are lost, misdirected, or can't be delivered.

7. General conditions

  • Publicity. Except where the law prohibits it, a winner agrees that Sponsor may use their name, city, state, and likeness to promote the Giveaway without paying them more.

  • Release. By entering, you release Sponsor, the Prize Partners, The Midway, and their affiliates, officers, and employees from any liability for injury, loss, or damage that comes from taking part in the Giveaway or from accepting or using a prize. Sponsor is not responsible for prize delivery or condition.

  • Changes or cancellation. Sponsor can disqualify anyone who tampers with the Giveaway or breaks these rules. If fraud, technical failure, or anything else outside Sponsor's control undermines the Giveaway, Sponsor can cancel or change it and pick winners from the eligible entries received before then.

  • Privacy. Information collected from entrants is used to run the Giveaway and is handled under MONO's Privacy Policy. Survey answers may be shared with Prize Partners only in combined or anonymized form, unless the entrant chooses to opt in.

  • Disputes. These rules are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved individually, without class actions, in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

  • Not affiliated. The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or run by Instagram, Meta, or any social network.

8. Winners list

Winners will be drawn at the end of each day of event.
