Lorne Padman
GRAMMY-Nominated Producer, Artist Manager and Music Executive
Lorne Padman is a GRAMMY-nominated producer, artist manager and music executive who serves as Head of Music at Rabbits Black, overseeing music strategy across the company’s film, entertainment and intellectual property projects. His work spans original music, publishing, soundtracks, music licensing, artist partnerships and the development of new opportunities around music and IP.
Prior to Rabbits Black, Lorne spent 12 years at Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, ultimately serving as President, where he worked across artist development, A&R, marketing and strategy. Over his career he has helped develop Avicii and The Chainsmokers, and worked closely with artists including Afrojack, Don Diablo, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Kaskade and Gareth Emery.
Lorne is also the founder of artist management and consulting company TrueStep Productions. He regularly speaks and moderates at industry events including Amsterdam Dance Event and Miami Music Week, and has lectured at institutions including Princeton, USC, UCLA and Musikmakarna in Sweden.
