Magie Hue
DJ, Music Producer, and Finger Drummer
Magie Hue is a Vietnamese-American DJ, music producer, and finger drummer based in Orange County, California. She blends live finger drumming with open-format DJ sets, between hip-hop, R&B, house, trap, future beats, and more.
Magie has performed at renowned venues including The Midway SF, Time Nightclub, Avalon Hollywood, Heat Ultra Lounge, Yost Theater, and 88Block in Tokyo. She has also been featured on Red Bull Music's 60 Seconds and DJcity’s social media platforms.
Inspired by the creative possibilities of drum machines, Magie has dedicated years refining her craft, earning an invitation to compete in Japan's prestigious King of Flip finger drumming beat competition in 2024.
As a music producer, Magie continues to contribute to the producer community through educational and creative content. Her music has been featured by global brands including Mercedes-Benz, Tommy Hilfiger, the X Games, and more, reflecting her growing impact as both a performer and producer.
She has taught multiple producer and performer workshops at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and with Serato through DuckWorld, an active worldwide underground beat-making and producer community, as well as Flip a Beat Club alongside producer Dibia$e for Dibi’s Diner, a beat-making workshop focused on creativity and collaboration.
Magie currently serves as a Product Demonstrator for AlphaTheta, engaging with the DJ and music producer community through live demonstrations, product education, and hands-on experiences. She focuses on helping artists explore new tools and technologies that expand their creative possibilities with DJing and music production.
